Terms of play

Short, because the game asks very little of you. Last reviewed 3 October 2026.

Who we are

EGGS DOWN is developed by ArcSystemsTechnology, which operates under ArcGabriel Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 17389329. ArcGabriel Ltd is the business you deal with when you buy anything here, and is the controller of the data described on the privacy page. The game

EGGS DOWN is a party game for adults, 18 and over. Classic bingo is free to host and to play in your browser; a pass lets a host switch on more for their room. It is provided as it is: we work hard to keep it running and fair, but we do not promise it will always be available, and its content may change.

Nothing to win but the win

There are no stakes, prizes, coins or anything of value to be won in EGGS DOWN, and nothing won in the game can be bought, sold, traded or exchanged. Wins, places on a board, badges and egg flair have no value outside the game.

Fair play

Every card and every call is drawn by our server from a cryptographic random source, the same way for everyone. A bingo is checked against the calls. Nothing you or anyone else buys changes who can win. When a host turns powers on, every player in the room gets the same powers, and the host gets nothing extra. Do not try to overload, probe or interfere with the service.

Drinks, and the swap

The host decides before anyone joins whether a room plays classic, party or drinking bingo. In a drinking room, some table rules ask for a sip; every one has a swap, and any player can choose swaps for themselves at any time, after which they are only ever given the swap. Nobody has to drink to play or to win, a sip is the most a rule ever asks, and each player has a cap per round. Please drink responsibly, or not at all: you are responsible for what you drink, and never drink and drive. Find advice at Drinkaware.

Table rules and reports

In party and drinking rooms, a table rule tells some players to do something quick: take a sip or its swap, clap, stand. A player who skips their line can be reported by another player, which freezes their phone for five seconds. A report is part of the game, not a judgement of anyone: it can only ever be for skipping the line that player was given, and for a player with swaps on that line is the swap. Be kind: the game is meant to work for a table of people who do not all know each other well. The host can remove a player, or a player's photo, from a room.

Buying something

What you buy. There are two passes, each one payment that lets the account that bought it host rooms for twelve months from the day you pay, as often as it likes. The All-Pass (£9.99) is for private use: rooms of up to 10, the caller's speed and its seven languages, room designs, players' profile photos, party and drinking games with table rules and reports, player powers, the rare eggs and crews. Commercial (£99) adds rooms of up to 30 and use by a business, venue or event in front of its customers. A free room holds up to 6. Neither pass is a subscription, and neither renews by itself; buying the same pass again before it ends adds twelve months to the end. Guests never pay. Prices are in pounds and include UK VAT; paying from abroad, Stripe may show the price in your own currency, and local taxes may apply. Stripe takes payment on its own page; we never see your card.

Host terms. Before you buy or start a pass you accept the host terms, which set out what you are responsible for as the host, and the limits of our liability.

Your account. A pass belongs to the username and password you made. Keep your recovery code: it is the only way to reset a forgotten password, because we never ask for your email. If you delete the account, its passes end with it.

Your right to cancel. Before you pay, we ask you to confirm that you want your pass to start straight away and that you understand you lose the 14-day right to cancel once it does (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). We record that you confirmed it.

If something is wrong. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected: digital content must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, and if it is not we will fix it, replace it or refund you. If you bought it by mistake, email us and we will usually refund it; a refunded pass ends.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in them takes away rights you have as a consumer.
